Winner Of Eco-Code Design Announced

We asked year 7 and year 8 to help us create the design for our Forge Eco-code. We received LOTS of entries!

We are delighted to announce that Keira Bailey in year 8 won the competition. Congratulations to Keira and to everyone who entered, the standard of art and creativeness was very high.

Eco-Schools is a seven step framework designed to place young people in control of environmental action in school, local community and beyond. The concept is that students can make a difference now whilst learning the skills needed to continue positively impacting our planet throughout their lifetimes.

When Forge have worked through each of the Eco-Schools Seven Steps we can apply for an Eco-Schools Green Flag award. This is an internationally-recognised award that tells the world our school is actively involved in protecting our planet.

Eco-Schools is over 25 years old and schools in more than 70 countries take part in the programme. For more information visit www.eco-schools.org.uk
