Update on a former student: Arron Walker

Arron Walker is a former student of Heathfield and left the school in 2010. He is now 24.

Arron has been training incredibly hard at kickboxing and has opened a few clubs and classes in the local area. He has delivered kickboxing sessions at Ormiston Forge Academy in the 2016/17 academic year.

As a result of his hard work, Arron has been selected to be part of Team England and will be representing England in the ICO World Cup in Birmingham and the Unified Championships in Italy in October 2017.

The photo is of Arron with fellow Team England squad member, who is also one of his students and the ICO England Ringsports coach, Neil Kelly.

Arron is proud to be representing the county and hopes to bring back some medals to reflect the hard work he has put into the sport over the past 16 years.

Congratulations Arron, from all of us at Forge and good luck in the World Cup and the Championships.
