As we approach the end of year 11, we want to take the opportunity to celebrate your child’s time here with us at Forge. While many students are planning to remain with us in sixth form, some will be leaving us following their exams for the next stage of their educational journey.
I am pleased to inform you that, after 2 years without celebrations, this year sees the return of the Ormiston Forge Academy prom. Prom will take place on Friday 24th June 2022 at David Lloyd Health Club, Pensnett Road, Dudley, DY5 3YP. It will run from 19:30 until 22:30 with arrivals starting at 19:00.
The cost of the event will be £40 which includes a buffet for all guests, room hire and a DJ along with some other surprises throughout the night. In order to secure your child’s place at prom, please complete the reply slip below and return to reception, along with a non-refundable £10 deposit by Monday 28th February. This will then give us an idea of numbers we have for the event.
While it is important for us that all students have the opportunity to attend this celebratory event, attendance at prom is conditional and students who display poor conduct will not be allowed to attend. I would also like to stress that this is currently based on national Covid guidelines and plans could change if further restrictions are imposed later in the year. If this happens, all deposits will be refunded.
We are excited to once again be able to run a prom and look forward to seeing your child there to celebrate year 11 with us.
