Using the COVID Lateral Flow Device (LFD) test twice weekly is an important part of our arsenal in the fight against COVID-19. Even after restrictions are lifted it remains important to regularly test until we are told it is no longer needed. With the summer holiday approaching and the need for students to continue testing over the summer holiday, we will be sending a new supply of test kits home with every student. If you do not wish your child to bring home test kits please inform the school using [email protected] before you are due to receive the kits.
Each test kit has a batch number that will correspond to groups of students, please encourage your child to bring the test kits straight home and store them appropriately.
Timings:
Year 7 will receive kits on Thursday 8th July
Year 8 will receive kits on Mon 19th July
Year 9 will receive kits on Mon 19th July
Year 10 will receive kits on Tues 20th July
Reporting results is easy. Go to www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result or call 119 free from a mobile or landline. Lines are open every day, 7am to 11pm. Support is offered in 200 languages as well as British Sign Language and Live Video Assistance.
