We have received this news at the same time as you so we have a considerable amount of work to do. Please be patient and give us time to receive guidance from the Government on how we reallocate results to students with their teacher assessed grades. Students who feel that today’s announcement is likely to affect their university offer should check their Academy email for further advice and guidance.
There is no change to the arrangements for the day on Thursday for GCSE collection other than the grades now awarded will be teacher-led.
We look forward to welcoming all of our year 11 students (also including year 12 and year 13 GCSE resit students) back to Forge this Thursday (20th) for results day.
Students should aim to arrive within the following designated times, queuing outside reception (keeping 2 metres apart).
Surname A-I > 0930 – 1015
Surname J-Q > 1015 – 1100
Surname R-Z > 1100 – 1145
Students will enter the collection point one at a time to collect their results from the results desk. On receipt of their results, they will exit and then leave the building unless they require staff support and at that point, a safe and secure area will be available.
If you are due to collect results this Thursday (20th August), we ask that you adhere to DfE guidance and the health and safety policies we have in place. In particular:
If students have any queries or concerns regarding their results they should speak to a member of staff. If students would like results emailed, they will need to send an email to our exams officer – [email protected]
