Year 10 Arrangements For Wider Opening (June 8 2020)

Dear Parents/Carers

Please forgive the short update today, we are busy preparing the wider opening to year 10 groups next week.

You should be aware of the plans for year 10, you can find them here along with a list of frequently asked questions: https://ormistonforgeacademy.co.uk/2020/05/19/wider-opening-for-year-10-and-year-12/

We followed this up last week with further details including our risk assessments and details: https://ormistonforgeacademy.co.uk/news/2020/6/1/year-10-and-year-12-from-june-15th-2020

Most of the letters should have been received by now, we’ve grouped students and provided details as to when we expect them in. It is important to state that due to the huge logistical challenge we face, we are unable to move students into different groups. If you have a student in year 10 and have not had a letter, please email [email protected]

All we ask now is that if you are not planning to send your child in, please let us know. You can send us a Facebook message, email [email protected] or call the main office on 01384 566598. It is really important that we know how many students we are expecting each day.

I hope that you are keeping well and that you are starting to enjoy a return to some levels of normality. I’d urge you to stay safe and keep observing social distancing guidance; it’s also never been more important for us all to keep washing our hands.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours faithfully,

Dr Lisa Mason
Principal
Ormiston Forge Academy
